Plans Behind the Rockin’ Roller Coaster and Muppet Vision 3d Closing
At last summer’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney announced that Monster’s Inc. Land is coming to Hollywood Studios! This new land will include a suspended ride recreating the door vault scene from Monsters Inc. and a whole new theater show. Monsters Inc. fans are certainly elated that these beloved characters are getting a permanent residence in Hollywood Studios. Kingdom and Cruise Travel is excited to follow the plans and report any news related to the new Monsters Inc. Land.
Where Will Monsters Inc. Land Be?
Here is where some of us go from elated to disappointed. Monsters Inc. Land is set to take over the south side of Hollywood Studios. This means that fan favorite Muppet Vision 3d will be gone! Pizza Rizzo and the current shops and dining in that area will also be rethemed. Muppet Vision 3d fans will surely miss this Hollywood Studios staple that has been running since 1991! Change is hard, friends. We get it. But not all is lost, because Disney promises a a major upgrade for the beloved Muppets!
Where will the Muppets Go in Hollywood Studios?
Move over, Aerosmith. Actually, just peace out. The Muppets are getting a new home at Hollywood Studios and will be taking over the Rockin Roller Coaster! Muppets fans are getting ready to turn into groupies of the Muppet Band that will rock this new attraction. We have a feeling that Animal, the Muppet drummer, will feature heavily in this newly themed ride.
