Let’s venture beyond the Mickey pretzel and Rice Krispie treat to give you our top 10 Walt Disney World snacks under $10. We’ll take you to each theme park plus Disney Springs to give you our savory and sweet picks in each location. Let’s eat!
But first, the Mousekecocktail.....
EPCOT Snacks Under $10
Let’s start our culinary journey in EPCOT. For the sweet tooth in everyone, try this amazing snack under $10:
The Croque Glace from L’Artisan des Glaces in the France pavilion in EPCOT. This tasty treat is one scoop of ice cream with choice of sauce in a homemade brioche, pressed warm. I ordered the coconut white chocolate ice cream with raspberry sauce. Coming in at $9.50, this sweet treat is totally worth it (and totally shareable).
Looking for something savory to snack on in Epcot? This savory snack under $10 is also found in the France pavilion; this time, in Les Halles Boulangerie. You MUST try the lobster bisque served in a bread bowl for only $5.95. This delicious “snack” is definitely enough for a light meal!
Magic Kingdom Snacks Under $10
Moving on to the Magic Kingdom to find snacks under $10, we simply must try the fresh fruit waffle sandwich from Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. This delightful dish is served with strawberries, bananas, blueberries and Nutella. Coming it at a mere $8.49, this is perfect for an indulgent breakfast or a sweet dessert. It is definitely another shareable option.
For something savory in the Magic Kingdom, you need to visit Westward Ho in Frontierland. This kiosk by the water offers a candied bacon skewer that is to die for. It is an insanely thick piece of candied bacon on a stick and it comes with chips, basically making it a meal. At $9.99 this still counts as a snack under $10. This treat is not always available, but when it is, you do not want to pass it by.
Animal Kingdom Snacks Under $10
Let’s head over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and start with our savory selection as a snack under $10. Today’s pick is the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork from Eight Spoon Cafe located on Discovery Island. This creamy, decadent dish is only $6.79 and is filling enough to be a light meal.
For something sweet in the Animal Kingdom, the place to be is the Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery in Africa. Here, you’ll want to grab the colossal cinnamon roll. This rivals Gaston’s Tavern cinnamon roll and is Mickey shaped. We all know that everything tastes better when shaped like Mickey. Be sure to get this served warm with extra icing. Coming in at only $7.49, this shareable item is a great snack under $10.
Hollywood Studios Snacks Under $10
Moving on to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, let’s search for our snacks under $10. The search is easy for a savory dish. Try the “totchos” from Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land. For $9.99, totchos are potato barrels coated with beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, queso with tomatoes and topped with corn chips, sour cream and green onion. This is a meal that hits all the spots.
For something sweet in Hollywood Studios, you’ll want to head over to Epic Eats, a kiosk located near Indiana Jones. No theme park visit is complete without some funnel cake. And this one is EXTRA: Glimmer and Shimmer Funnel Cake. It is a Funnel Cake with Cookies ‘n Cream and Soft-serve Vanilla Ice Cream topped with Golden Cookies and Sprinkles. Coming in at $8.49, this is for sure one of the best snacks under $10.
Disney Springs Snacks Under $10
Head over to Disney Springs for our next treat under $10. For your sweet tooth, you must try Gideon’s Bakehouse in The Landing (if you are lucky enough to get in). Half of the appeal is this cool, dark vibe- kind of like the Haunted Mansion library meets steampunk. The other half of the appeal, of course, is the cookies. Try the Original Chocolate Chip Cookie. The Gideon’s Original Chocolate Chip recipe took 15 years to perfect and is filled with history. It is packed inside and out with a variety of Chocolates, infused with differing vanillas, and has a texture that might almost trick you into thinking you’re eating Cookie Dough. This Cookie has been named everything from Best in Orlando to Best on Planet Earth. For $6, you’ll be eating this for days (or sharing with several friends).
There are plenty of savory options for snacks under $10 in Disney Springs, but we love anything from The Daily Poutine in Town Center. They serve all different types of specialty poutine- Italian, Korean, Indian. We like the traditional Canadian poutine- French fries, beef gravy and cheddar curds. At $9.49, this is certainly meal-sized.
Of course, if you’re looking for snacks on a budget, stick to Dole Whip ($5.99), Popcorn ($6.50) or the classic Mickey Ice Cream Bar ($5.99). Bonus: Purchase your popcorn in a refillable bucket for about $13 and refill them for the duration of your trip and beyond for only $2 per refill. But we think that these snacks under $10 are the perfect size for your bellies and budget for your wallet. And, of course, if it’s a beverage you’re after, don’t forget to check out our top picks for grabbing beer. What are your go-to snacks in the Walt Disney World Resort?
