This weeks podcast these MousekeMoms had the pleasure of interviewing Sir Willow (George Burnash). Sir Willow has a fantastic YouTube Channel called Sir Willow Confessions of a Theme Park Worker .
Sir Willow offers a behind the scenes look at what a former worker at Disney World, Silver Dollar City, and Busch Gardens Florida experienced in his time working at the parks. From driving large safari trucks around live wild animals while cracking one silly joke after another, to spending 5 years as a #PhotoPass photographer at #WaltDisneyWorld and seeing and experiencing all sorts of things, to being a conductor and #trainrobber on the famous Frisco Silver Dollar Line at #SilverDollarCity. With 10 years of working in the parks, there’s lots of stories to tell. And not only did he work in theme parks for 10 years, he’s also visited a whole lot of them as well, solo and with his family, offering stories of great visits, not so great visits, favorites, reviews, and much more.
Of course we dove right in and asked all about his time as a PhotoPass Cast Member. George started off at the beginning of PhotoPass and has worked at all the parks, including being a model at Blizzard Beach to figure out what the best lightening was and the best shots for guests. George was at the beginning of PhotoPass before Memory Maker, and actually had to load pictures to CDs and then DVDs. Although things have changed a bit, the Cast Members goal to make memories have not.
George had some great stories of guests, who the best characters are for interaction, a touching story that made these MousekeMoms a little teary eyed, and even went on about his jobs at Silver Dollar City and Busch Gardens. To hear these wonderful stories you are just going to have to listen to this weeks podcast!
It was such a pleasure to interview George and hear all his stories!
