The 5 Best Rides Found ONLY in Disney California Adventure Park

Disney California Adventure Park is one of two parks at the Disneyland Resort in California, and it’s my family’s favorite park! I just had the opportunity to visit again this past week with fellow agents from Kingdom and Cruise Travel.  We explored every square foot of this park and rode as many rides as we could.  There are SO many rides here that are exclusive to this park, which means if you haven’t been here you are missing out!  I am sharing the 5 BEST rides that you won’t want to miss! Reach out today to book a Disneyland trip today!

Disney California Adventure Park has some of the best rides of all Disney Parks!
1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout
I must admit, I was disappointed at first that Disney re-imagined the Tower of Terror here. I couldn’t foresee a cooler elevator drop ride. Boy, was I wrong! On this ride, Guardians of the Galaxy character, Rocket (the raccoon), is on a mission to rescue his fellow Guardians of the Galaxy from the Collector who is holding his friends captive.  He commandeers a gantry lift, plugs in a walk-man and the thrilling ride begins!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout used the old Tower of Terror ride to create a unique immersive Marvel experience.
There are 6 different ride and drop sequences and themes to go along with six different song possibilities for the ride! I have experienced three of them – “I Want You Back” by the Jackson 5, “Burnin Love” by Elvis and “Free Ride” by Edgar Winter.  I’ll just keep going back until I get them all.  Riders have to be 40 inches to enjoy this experience!  And you WILL enjoy it!

2. WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure

Calling all Marvel superhero fans! Your dream has come true…you get to test out a real super power – the ability to sling webs from your hands! Spider Man’s spider bots are stuck in replication mode and are wreaking havoc in Avengers Campus.  Hop in your vehicle and start slinging your webs to stop the bot madness!  The ride detects your hands’ movements.  The 3-d effect makes it look like you are really shooting the webs as those bots come straight at you! You will feel like you need a superhero cape when you come off this ride. You also might need to rest your arms.
After you sling some webs on WEBSLINGERS, be sure to stick around for the Amazing Spider Man show on the roof!

3. The Incredicoaster

Buckle up for an Incredible ride around Pixar Pier! Baby Jack Jack’s superpowers are causing trouble as he teleports from tunnel to tunnel. Head out on a FAST twisting, turning and upside-down adventure through tunnels and around Pixar Pier, with special effects and music!  For those of you who have tried TRON in Magic Kingdom and lamented it’s short-lived thrills, you will be very happy to know this ride is about 1 1/2 minutes longer!   Because this is a true thrill coaster, the height requirement is 48 inches.
Riders get a countdown on this track on the left before they launch up the first tunnel at 55pmh.

4. Pixar Pal-A-Round Swinging

Don’t miss a ride on this iconic symbol of Disneyland!  This is only one of 2 Ferris Wheels in the country that has both fixed and swinging/sliding gondolas.  Take a relaxing ride in the fixed gondolas and enjoy the view, or hop in the swinging and sliding gondolas for a thrilling adventure! Do this ride early in the day!  It closes early to accommodate the nighttime show, World of Color.

Hop on board the Pixar Pal-A-Round for a thrilling ride and spectacular views of Disney California Adventure Park.

5. Radiator Springs Racers

This ride is arguably the BEST ride in all of Disneyland and it’s in the BEST themed land of all the Disney parks. This is my opinion.  But it also might be a fact.

Be sure to check out Cars Land at night. The neon lights are stunning!

You will have to line up early for this ride OR purchase an individual lightning lane.  Lines will be long as it’s the most popular ride in California Adventure Park.  And for a good reason!  Climb in your Cars-themed vehicle and take a joy ride around Radiator Springs.  Then, get ready to take Doc’s advice and “turn right to go left” because you will be RACING the car next to you!! Wait, What!? Nevermind.  Just win that Piston Cup!

Radiator Springs Fun Fact: Each Cars car on this ride drives about 36,000 miles a in a year!
