From Disneyland to Disney Cruise Line to Walt Disney World, there’s something for everyone and we MousekeMoms can’t wait! Let’s dive in.
Dining Plans are BACK in 2024
The news that has been generating the most buzz is that the Disney Dining Plans are finally making a comeback to Walt Disney Travel Company in 2024. Beginning with stays checking in on January 9, 2024, guests will be able to add either the Quick Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan to their resort package. With the Quick Service plan, guests will receive 2 quick service meals and 1 snack per person per night of their stay plus the resort refillable mugs. Those adding the Disney Dining Plan will receive 1 quick service meal, 1 table service meal and 1 snack per person per night of their stay plus the resort refillable mug. These much anticipated plans will once again make a Walt Disney World Resort package similar to an all-inclusive vacation. Will you be adding them to your next trip?
Changes in Theme Park Access
What else can we expect from the Walt Disney Travel Company in 2024? Since COVID, guests have not been able to enter a Walt Disney World theme park without a park reservation. Park hopping has been restricted to after 2pm only. Coming January 9, 2024, guests will no longer need a park reservation in addition to their admission ticket. And, even more exciting, park hopping will return to all-day access. Disney fans all over have been eagerly awaiting this change in order to maximize the benefits of their park hopper tickets.
New Rides and Attractions Coming in 2024
Some exciting ride and attraction additions are also to be expected in 2024, particularly in Walt Disney World. We can’t forget about the fan favorite- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This much anticipated ride is replacing Splash Mountain and is slated to open at the end of 2024. The Country Bear Jamboree is also expecting a facelift. It will be brought up to the 2020’s with the addition of more modern songs and jokes.
Disney Cruise Line
Big changes are expected for the Disney Cruise Line in 2024. We will be able to visit Disney’s newest private island in the Bahamas, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. This new destination is expected to be as amazing as the current, popular private island of Castaway Cay. Guests will be able to visit this island with sailings beginning on June 6, 2024. But that’s not where the news stops for Disney Cruise Line. The Disney Treasure, the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, will have its’ inaugural sailing for Christmas, 2024.
