Celebrate the Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood

It’s time to celebrate the holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood!  The holiday season returns to Universal Studios Hollywood daily November 29 – January 6. This themed event is included with your admission to the park, and features holiday overlays of Super Nintendo World and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  Fan Favorite ‘Grinchmas” returns as well!

Super Nintendo World

Super Nintendo World is debuting it’s holiday overlay this year!  You can join in the festivities with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad by bringing in the holiday season in the Mushroom Kingdom.  There will be a Christmas tree topped with a Super Star, snowmen dressed as Mario and Luigi, and holiday merchandise for the first time ever.

Universal Plaza

Universal Plaza will be the heart of the Grinchmas Who-bilation!  The plaza will transform into Who-ville, featuring a 65-foot tall Grinchmas tree, live entertainment, and festive activities.

You can craft an ornament to hang on their trees at home or in the park, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Grinch and his dog Max!  Next, you can enjoy story time with Cindy-Lou Who and listen to a live quartet, making the celebration magical!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Hogsmeade Village will be celebrating the season with a cappella performances from the Frog Choir while you sip on Butterbeer and enjoy festive treats!  The village will be decorated with twinkling lights, garlands, and wreaths to get guests into the Christmas spirit.  At twilight, you will be spellbound by “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” light projection.  This display will be accompanied by a medley of music from the films, creating a magical atmosphere.
