Let’s learn more about Holly in this month’s Travel Advisor Spotlight!
Q: How long have you been a travel advisor at Kingdom and Cruise Travel?
I have been with Kingdom and Cruise Travel since the start of the company in 2020, a little over 4 years ago. It has been a great experience and I cannot wait to see where 2025 takes the agency.
Q: What is your favorite destination to book for your clients?
This question has many answers because I LOVE travel and so many destinations. One of my tip top destinations to plan will always be Disney destinations. Ever since I was a little girl, Disney has held a special place in my heart. Outside of Disney, I would say either an all inclusive in the Caribbean or a cruise that visits many Caribbean islands. The Caribbean is my go to destination for relaxation and cultural fun.
Q: What is your favorite destination to travel to yourself?
So far my favorite destination to travel to is Ireland. This location is full of kind people, yummy eats, amazing historical spots, and gorgeous landscapes. Some great spots I visited while there was the Killary Fjord on a small boat (so many goats were climbing the side of the mountains), the Rock of Cashel, we visited the great Celtic Cathedral, which included the Hall of Vicars, Cormack’s Chapel, which has one of Ireland’s oldest Romanesque wall paintings and the Round tower, I got to walk across the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge in Northern Island, explored Belfast where the Titanic was built and enjoyed lunch at a little Nook at The Giants Causeway.
Q: What is your dream vacation?
A dream vacation would be to visit the islands of Hawaii, enjoy the marine life with some of the best snorkeling you will ever see. Of course I want to see all the historical sites such as Pearl Harbor, and maybe try surfing for the first time.
Q: Travel advisors are always learning. What destination or supplier are you learning more about right now?
I am always learning to stay up to date with all the destinations I plan for my clients. At the moment, I am diving a little deeper into river cruising with AmaWaterways and Viking and ocean voyages with NCL or Virgin Voyages. Plus studying all the history to experience and have fun one can have on a luxury European land tour when combined with or without a European river cruise. All the activities I am planning for my clients to experience while they sail the Seine river, has me wanting to plan my next visit to Europe.
