Welcome to Darkmoor, the monstrous village in Dark Universe, the monster-themed world in Universal Epic Universe. For those of us brave enough to enter, let’s take a look at what we know so far about Dark Universe.
If you missed our deep dives into the other worlds we’ve covered so far, you can catch them here and here.
What We Know About The Story
Dark Universe brings us to the village of Darkmoor – home to monsters and the scientists who created them. As we pass through the portal into Dark Universe, we’ll walk through a cemetery and make our way into the village and we’ll see the evidence of the battle between life and death.
What We Know About What We’ll See
Here in Dark Universe, we’ll be able to meet classic monsters such as Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, villagers from Darkmoor, and more!
What We Know About What We’ll Eat
Das Steakhouse will be one of the featured dining options in Dark Universe. Situated in a catacomb, this restaurant will offer burgers, kebabs, sandwiches, and ribs served to us by none other than vampire servants.
The Burning Blade Tavern will offer burgers, wings, bratwurst, beer, and the typical tavern fare. The name holds true: the windmill blades on top of the restaurant will burst into flames every 20 minutes.
What We Know About What We’ll Experience
The headlining attraction of this world is Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment. On this ride, we’ll journey into Frankenstein Manor, where we’ll witness Dr. Victoria Frankenstein conduct her latest experiment – taming monsters that have been brought back from the dead. The experiment will fail (don’t they all?) and we’ll be chased through the Manor by all of Dr. Frankenstein’s failed experiments. It sounds terrifying, and I can’t wait to ride it myself!
The other attraction in this world is Curse of the Werewolf, a family coaster where we’ll spin away from werewolves under the full moon. It is an updated take on classic monsters, and it sounds scary fun!
Dark Universe is so unlike anything we’ve seen in a theme park before. It’s truly groundbreaking, and if you are as excited to see it as I am, contact your Kingdom and Cruise Travel Agent today to get your vacation started!
